The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Soldiers Table

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a diverse cast of heroes, and a gripping narrative including angels, evil spirits, and dark forces expanding in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Revealing details for the latest installment of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The latest chapter finished on a major cliffhanger and introduced the initial group of characters who will split off from the central cast to begin their separate journey, separate from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team consists of Teor (portrayed by Travis), the agile character (the talented performer), Tyranny (the cast member), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

Considering a large ensemble, it was obvious from the start that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

This explains, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, weaving together the individual narratives before dividing into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Schemers, and Questers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who enjoy a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are scarce.

Initially, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might seem out of place, but the actions of the third episode show why these five characters are best suited for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the party knows exactly where to head next after a violent first encounter with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose demise initiated the story’s plot—used The Crow Keepers for his own means, invading the hidden lair, assaulting the character, and stealing all the powerful objects to dispose of.

The traitor then paid off his liabilities and fled to a fortified location in the northern region, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each adventurer has a specific drive to leave the city the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and closest confidant, desires vengeance.
  • Kattigan knows Timmony and cautions that it is a hostile environment.
  • The strong character and The healer, having resisted his family’s wishes to eliminate the fighter and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • However, their position as key figures in the influential clan could assist the group access locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The fighter vowed a eternal obligation to The cleric for his deliverance and will now go with him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are hunted by the rulers that rule the setting for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and Wicander defied the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by House Halovar.

This results in them little choice but to journey toward Timmony in pursuit of the traitor.

Future Episodes

From the recent installment’s follow-up content, we learn that the Soldiers table won’t be around next week, leaving the remaining eight players to form the Questers and Schemers tables.

Audiences can look forward to learning which adventurers will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
